Responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet and exceed the professional landscape trades needs and requirements.  Helps develop and expand the business through facility management, maintaining healthy plants, and excellent customer service. This position will lead, manage and hold branch employees accountable to company core values.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create a positive and challenging environment which is conducive to high performance and teamwork, and a great place to work
  • Create an incident-free environment by emphasizing safety daily, leading by example, involving all team members, promoting a safety culture, achieving excellent housekeeping and workplace organization and executing clear safety policies
  • Lead, organize, coach, and supervise individual operations workers
  • Require and hold accountable all operations workers to work safely under all circumstance
  • Train and coach the team in developing and maintaining outstanding customer ¬†service
  • Coordinate with branch management and sales staff on the incoming product, outgoing product, and inventory levels
  • Responsible for all facets of incoming product: Verify quality, counts, and correct size as it relates to the branches expectations
  • Select, stage, load, QC and coordinate outbound orders
  • Manage and organize all MNI Direct product in the yard
    • Label/Tag material as required
    • Stack out material in accordance with master planogram
  • Maintain plant health in order to maximize sellability and reduce loss
  • Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with local, state & federal transportation regulations, as well as OSHA standards
  • Prepare performance-related documents (appraisals & disciplinary) as necessary and submit to upper management for review, then to Human Resources
  • Perform other duties as required


  • High School diploma or secondary diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of management experience in nursery or landscape management
  • Ability to read, write and speak well in English is required; bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Have excellent general computer skills in Google and Microsoft Office
  • Expert customer service skills
  • Ability to solve problems as it relates to operations, and customer service needs
  • Must be a leader; able to inspire others to achieve outstanding results
  • Valid drivers license required as a condition of employment
  • Ability to load and unload products with a skid steer

Physical Requirements

  • Duties require prolonged walking, standing, bending, and squatting.
  • Duties require working outside in extreme heat and moderate cold
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
