MNI Direct offers a vast selection of high-quality plant material, including shrubs and ground covers from across the nation. We challenge ourselves to stock our inventory with only the finest growers in the United States. If our customers do not see what they want in our yards or online, we are happy to assist by sourcing it for them.

The McCorkle Nurseries Inc. Story
In 1942, C.S. and his wife Avice McCorkle started their family business as an ornamental plant grower during the Great Depression. They then established a retail and landscaping business post-World War II, where the family business weathered setbacks in the early days.
Undeterred, the second generation of the McCorkle family moved the business in 1977 to part of the family’s home site in Dearing, about thirty miles west of Augusta and refocused on growing plants and providing wholesale distribution. Since then, the family-owned business has grown to serve retail garden centers and landscapers across the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states. Don managed the Landscape Division while Jack worked to expand the original five-acre growing operation. Both Don and Jack still mentor the third and fourth generations of McCorkle family leaders.
In addition to being a licensed grower for most major plant brands, in 2006 McCorkle Nurseries launched its own line of top-performing plants, Gardener’s Confidence®. It features more than 70 patented and trademarked plants, many of which are part of their ECHO Blooms® line of rebloomers.
The McCorkle family, along with many seasoned and talented managers, continue to grow and lead the company forward. Following the core values handed down from their founder, McCorkle culture continues with a strong, focused, and hardworking team who is committed to faithfully serving its customers with high-quality plants.
